Nadav or “Principal Z” works at the intersection of technology and education. Based on nearly two decades of experience ranging from software engineering to teaching physics/robotics and reforming a NYC public high school as principal, he has launched an open-source, blockchain ledger of "gold standard" high school credits. He is the author of Education in the Digital Age: How We Get There where he offers an evaluation of how digital technology and economics are poised to transform education by examining the concept of academic capital. He explains why it’s necessary to reengineer the way high school credits are stored and used in education by implementing blockchain technology in the credits ledger system. Today, he doing just that in conjunction with the hs.credit app project to revolutionize education in our digital economy.
